A Little Bit About Me

The small story of an early zoomer from Latin America who travels around the world with a camera at hand.

My name is Maria Clara, and my story begins in the - rather huge city of - Rio de Janeiro. Living for my whole life as a carioca collaborated to way I see the world, being raised in such warm and friendly environment and happy and light atmosphere definitely helped me find my passion for cultural diversity, History and nature from such an early age.
At the young age of 8, my family took me for the first time to Europe (back then I had already visited some four different Brazilian states, and been to the United States twice at the ages of 5 and 6), and there was when I first discovered my quivering thirst for History, I was amazed to get to know a place which was so similar yet so different from where I'm from, and unlike any other place I'd ever been before. Since very young I've had this insatiable thirst for meeting new places, also known as the ol' bittersweet Wonderlust. Since then I've been to 14 different countries and some 6 different Brazilian federal states, plus 2 World Wonders.
